A Movie Festival Worth Checking Out

As most readers of this blog know, I’m not particularly keen on the terms “liberal” and “conservative.” I don’t find them, shall we say, intellectually stimulating. Nevertheless, most film festivals, judging from their monolithic content, seem to be biased in the “traditional liberal” direction. The Liberty Film Festival here in LA is one that is not. I missed it last year because I was out of town, but I heard it was pretty interesting, both for its fare and its panels. Now they have a call out for submissions for their 2005 festival. If you have something of interest, you would be well served to give them a whirl.
