Trump Answers Nearly 20 TIMES More Media Questions Than Old Joe Biden Did in Four Years

The extent of the gaslighting over the last four years was positively staggering. On social media, leftists tried to blunt concerns over Old Joe Biden’s obvious cognitive impairment by claiming that Trump was just as cognitively deficient, if not more so. Pushing this narrative along, of course, were numerous Biden apparatchiks who insisted that as soon as the cameras were off, this mumbling, semi-coherent old man suddenly became sharp, energetic, and demanding to the extent that aides who were less than half his age couldn’t keep up with his pace.

We know now that it was all lies, and here is more proof. Fox News reported Friday that a new study demonstrates that in sharp contrast to the senescent corruptocrat who was both his successor and his predecessor, Trump is actually acting as president, not dodging the media, but facing them head-on, despite the fact that the vast majority of establishment media “journalists” are as unbendingly hostile to him as they were docile and servile toward Old Joe and his henchmen.

Trump’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, spelled it out to the media wonks Friday: "As I've said before, and I will say it again today, everybody in this room has access to the most transparent and accessible president in American history. The Cabinet meeting yesterday was further proof."

For even more proof, Leavitt pointed to a Thursday Washington Times report that stated: “President Trump answered nearly 100 questions from the press during his first three Cabinet meetings this year — nearly 20 times the number answered by President Biden in the same setting during four years in office.” The Times noted that “the total number of questions Mr. Trump has answered during his Cabinet meetings, which have lasted between an hour and an hour and a half, to roughly 90.”

In case you’ve already put his time in office out of your mind, which would be entirely understandable, here’s a small refresher: Old Joe “answered a total of five press questions over the course of nine Cabinet meetings during his term. Mr. Biden spoke during the public portion of all his Cabinet meetings for a total of 45 minutes, or 5 minutes per meeting. He never spoke for longer than 7 minutes during any of the public portions of Cabinet meetings while in office.”

And so once again, here we have a reminder of what it’s like to have a real president. And he isn’t just outpacing the barely-there figurehead he replaced in the Oval Office: Fox pointed out that Trump “held 25 Cabinet meetings in his first term, while then-President Barack Obama held 19 in his first four years.” Yes, you read that right: even the sainted Obama was not as accessible to his adoring press as Trump is to an avowedly hostile gaggle of leftist “journalists.”

And it gets even worse. Fox recalls the tragicomedy of Old Joe’s last Cabinet meeting: “the last time Biden met with his Cabinet raised eyebrows. In September, at his first Cabinet meeting in almost a year, the president turned the meeting over to his wife, Jill, who was seated at the head of the table, declaring, ‘It’s all yours, kid.’" What? Why? Who elected Jill? (Who elected Joe, for that matter, but that’s another story.)

Fox’s story on this ends on another tragicomic note: “Fox News Digital reached out to Biden’s staff and did not receive an immediate reply.” Well, of course. What could they possibly say? “We kept Old Joe under wraps as much as we could because he was totally non compos mentis and we were trying to make sure that as few people as possible ever noticed”? “Yes, of course Biden didn’t answer questions from the media, and he didn’t need to, because the establishment media is the Democrat Party’s propaganda arm anyway, and so White House reporters didn’t need Old Joe up there mumbling talking points off a teleprompter for them to be able to write stories that reflected the party line”?

The establishment media would never be honest enough to say either of those things, but everyone knows that’s what was really going on. The difference between Biden and Trump is that Biden was a figurehead, and Trump is a real president. A figurehead takes as few questions as possible, because every question he does take requires his answer to be prepared and scripted. A real leader takes as many questions as time permits, because he actually has ideas in his head. Wow: a president who can think. What a concept.
