After the Islamic Republic of Iran rained down hundreds of missiles upon Israel, the reaction from the Biden-Harris regime was as swift as it was predictable. Instead of standing by a nation that has always been a strong ally of the United States, Old Joe Biden made it clear that he opposed any Israeli action that would remove the threat of total annihilation that continues to hang over the head of the Jewish state. When asked if he would support an Israeli strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities, Biden responded: “The answer is no.”
Old Joe’s concern for the well-being of the Islamic Republic is jarring enough in itself, but at this point, when Israel has a chance to remove this immense threat from the entire world, it’s much worse than that. Does the Biden-Harris regime think that the Iranian threat will never seriously affect the United States? Or do they just not care?
As Rick Moran noted Wednesday, “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu doesn't need Joe Biden's permission or approval to destroy Iran's nuclear infrastructure. But as a supposed ally of Israel, it would have been nice if Biden followed through on his promise to ‘have Israel's back’ if, as it now appears, Netanyahu is planning to do so.”
Yes. It would also be nice if Biden and Harris had America’s back. In a nationally televised address on Nov. 1, 2023, Iran’s Supreme Leader, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, declared: "The situation between America and Iran is this: When you chant 'Death to America!' it is not just a slogan – it is a policy. I have stated the reasons previously. For many years, from the 1940s to the 1970s – that is 30 years – the Americans did everything they could do against the Iranian nation. They hit Iran in any way they could – financially, economically, politically, scientifically, and morally.”
Yeah, the leftists who have had near-total control of the United States government for twelve of the last sixteen years have been hitting the Islamic Republic hard. You remember when Barack Obama hit the mullahs with $1.8 billion in the form of unmarked bills he sent to Tehran in the dead of night. Then in March 2024, Old Joe hit them with $10 billion more. That makes the United States one of the chief financiers of Iran’s proxy war against Israel, as Iran is one of the chief financiers of its subsidiary Hizballah, as well as Hamas.
The gratitude that the Islamic Republic has shown for all this American largesse truly warms the heart. According to a July 2022 report from the dissident news outlet Iran International, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) boasted that it would soon have the ability to transform New York into “hellish ruins.” That would likely be with a nuclear strike from the facilities that Old Joe Biden doesn’t want the Israelis to hit.

Even if the IRGC was just engaging in some empty bravado and will not have the ability to strike New York City or anywhere else in the United States in the foreseeable future, there is no doubt that the Islamic Republic is inveterately hostile to the United States. It has never reciprocated the many gestures of goodwill it received from the Obama and Biden administrations, and it never will. Instead, its hostility couldn’t be clearer.
Back in March 2023, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) asked Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, “How many attacks has Iran or its proxies launched against American positions in Iran [sic: he meant Iraq] and Syria, uh, since Joe Biden took office?” Austin responded, “There’s been, uh, about 83 attacks, I think, uh, since, uh, in the last several years.” That’s right. 83 attacks from Iran on U.S. positions. The response from Old Joe? More sanctions relief and more billions flowing into Iran’s coffers.
If Israel bows to the State Department’s wishes and refrains from striking Iran’s nuclear facilities, the American people could end up being the ones who pay the price. If Iran strikes the U.S. with a nuclear missile, the Biden-Harris regime will go down in history as having enabled the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans and possibly even more. Is that even part of the calculus of the people who are running things in Washington? Or is their contempt for the prosperity and safety of the American people absolute?
