Jake Tapper says that Barack Obama has met yet another man he didn’t really know in Bill Richardson. “Sources tell ABC News that officials on the Obama Transition Team feel that before he was formally offered the job of commerce secretary, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson was not forthcoming with them about the federal investigation that is looking into whether the governor steered a state contract towards a major financial contributor.” Richardson has withdrawn his name from consideration. Poor Obama, deceived by yet another designing politician. But you might have thought BHO would draw some conclusions about Richardson’s character from former President Clinton’s angry outburst when the NM Governor deep-sixed Hillary for Obama. “Isn’t two Cabinet posts enough?”
