Eduardo Yanez, a Mexican soap opera star, slapped a Univision reporter in the face while they were on a red carpet in Los Angeles. Paco Fuentes, the reporter, will be pressing assault charges.

The exchange got heated when Fuentes called out the actor for forcing his son to start a GoFundMe crowdfunding page to repair his car, rather than just helping him out. Yanez, who has called President Trump “stupid,” has had a strained relationship with his son since June. According to TMZ, the problems arose “after Yanez’s son accused him on Twitter of being a drug addict, racist and woman abuser.”
