Continuing with the super funny theme that President Trump and Steve Bannon are Nazi dog whistlers, CBS’ Stephen Colbert actually gave a Nazi salute on network television. He not only joked that this is how high Bannon helped raise the bar for Trump, but he hailed Hitler at the same time. Comedians need to realize that there are some lines that we just do not cross. If you wouldn’t say the N-word or the LGBT-derogatory F-word, you shouldn’t be saluting the Third Reich. Millions of Jews and other minorities perished in the Holocaust, and it shouldn’t matter what political side you’re on; there’s no excuse for even symbolically honoring their murderers.
