Rep. Blckburn: Comey Gave 'Seal of Approval' for People to Leak Info at the FBI

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) blamed former FBI Director James Comey for the environment of leaks at the FBI. She said that during Comey’s testimony “he talked about how he initiated a leak very methodically and put thought into that process in order to achieve an outcome.” And that behavior, Blackburn said, has given others a “seal of approval” to leak info to the press themselves. She described leaks as a perpetuation of the public’s distrust for law enforcement and intelligence agencies, and said she wants them to get their act together.
