Mike Pence: 'Private Manning Is a Traitor and Should Not Have Been Turned Into a Martyr'

As a last-ditch effort to hinder our national interests abroad, President Obama lame-duck pardoned Private Manning, and Vice President Elect Mike Pence isn’t fond of that decision. He said, “Private Manning’s actions compromised our national security, endangered American personnel down range, and compromised individuals in Afghanistan who were cooperating with our forces, by leaking 750,000 documents to Wikileaks.” Pence continued, “We will register strong disagreement” with Obama’s commutation. The next VP also addressed concerns that Trump’s stances on WikiLeaks are contradictory. Check out this video to see why he doesn’t think there’s any major two-facedness.
