Terminally Ill 7-Year-Old Becomes Honorary Marine

Wyatt Gillette, who was diagnosed with a terminal illness, received the rare title of honorary Marine. He died a day later at age 7.

His dad serves in the Marines, and his unit knows the sacrifice and honor young Wyatt has brought to the group, so they made him an honorary Marine. We are very sad to report that he died the next day at seven years old.
