The first ever Hello Kitty Bistro has opened for business in Shanghai, China. This is the first one to open on mainland China. Fans of the feline cartoon character have been converging on the bistro to enjoy a number of Hello Kitty-themed dishes and desserts. A Hello Kitty restaurant opened in Hong Kong last year.
