WASHINGTON — Special Counsel Bob Mueller was unable to recall which U.S. president appointed him as U.S. attorney in Massachusetts while testifying before Congress on Wednesday.

During a House Judiciary Committee Hearing on the final Russia probe report, Mueller was reminded by Rep. Greg Stanton (D-Ariz.) that former President Ronald Reagan had appointed him to the position.
