University Offers Pizza Major (Not a Typo)

That’s right, boys and girls, you can now major in pizza at Manchester Metropolitan University in England. The program has been created in partnership with Pizza Hut and is intended to teach students “a range of skills from food production to financial analysis.”

This might not be quite as crazy as it sounds. The program works like an apprenticeship and students learn while working in the practical environment of a Pizza Hut store.

One might wonder why you need to pay a university for the privilege of working at Pizza Hut. The answer to that question is not immediately apparent.
