For as long as I can remember, we’ve heard the left tell us just how “unsafe” conservatives and libertarians make them feel. All of us were left scratching our heads. What had we ever done to make people think that hurting someone for simply disagreeing on a political matter was acceptable to us?
Since the election of Donald Trump to the presidency, our question has been answered many times.
We’ve done nothing. We never riot, we rarely protest, we rarely even litter.
Violence is part of the political left, which is yet again using false claims of their opposition’s violent tendencies to justify their own. The latest example comes from George Washington University, where pro-transgender activists are alleged to have assaulted a pro-family group:
According to a report from the TFP Student Action news website, once students got to the banner they asked for one of the fliers the TFP group had.
That’s when the “fun” began.
“I got you a dollar if you spit on one of them,” one of the students said. Another added, “If I wouldn’t get caught, I’d kill them all.” Others joined in: “You don’t belong here.” “Why are you here?” “Is this some sort of joke?”
Some students at George Washington University were none too happy when volunteers from TFP Student Action (part of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property) showed up at the campus “Trustee’s Gate” and presented a banner which read “God created them male & female. (Gen. 5:2) Stop the ravages of transgender ideology.”
Threats are bad enough, but there’s more to it than that.
At least one person was arrested after repeatedly poking a TFP activist in the chest. Another reportedly slapped a TFP activist after accepting a flier from him.
Additionally, TFP reports one interesting exchange that sums up leftist politics in a nutshell:
When LGBT advocates couldn’t answer the volunteers’ counter-arguments, many employed the leftist tactic of using personal attacks. While insisting that the TFP had no right to judge others, pro-transgender students had no problem labeling them as pedophiles, science-deniers, murderers, and even insulted them on the basis of race.
Woman: “Look at you! You’re all white!”
One volunteer, pointing to a fellow TFP member said, “We’re both Mexican. But even if none of us were white, would that change your view?”
Woman: “That’s even worse! You’re a traitor to your race! You should be supporting us!”
Oh, that last line.
The left, for all the talk about being anti-racist, views itself as nothing more than the overseer on a plantation, and all the good little minorities need to know their place lest they get all uppity.
These Mexican volunteers got uppity.
Progressives view every minority as their personal property, as someone who owes them total allegiance because … well, because they’re totalitarians.
Even if you disagree with TFP on transgenderism, this attitude that certain DNA means you are required to adhere to leftist ideology is the definition of racism. Progressives employing these tactics need to be called out, and if other leftists want us to take them seriously, it’s about time they start shouting their own down about these repulsive attitudes.
I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for it to happen, though. Because racism is, in fact, a fundamental part of Leftism.
