Sanders Shrugs Off Projected 'Green New Deal' Job Losses

As sales pitches go, the one that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is making for being the president of the United States isn’t overwhelmingly positive. The perpetually angry socialist has a lot of plans for America should he be elected president, and all of them seem to involve regular people enduring hardships in order to achieve his vision.

During the first round of Democratic primary debates in June, Sanders was pressured to admit that his “free” health care was, in fact, going to cost the middle class in higher taxes:

Great. Wonder how much we’ll have to fork over for free college.

For all of their blather about being for the workers and for the people, socialist politicians are the worst classists. They know that the political class in socialist and communist societies fare better than the common folk, and therefore don’t worry about what they’re inflicting upon the masses.

Because he’s a cliche, Sanders has proposed a climate hoax “Green New Deal” plan that will cost the American taxpayers $16 trillion. Like any devout climate hoaxer, Sanders seeks nothing less than the complete destruction of the fossil fuel industry and the jobs that go with it.

The Hill:

Moderator Chris Hayes asked Sanders to speak to an oil field worker whose job would be threatened.

“Bernie Sanders comes in on Day 1 and says no more. What happens?” Hayes asked.

“I’m not going to say Chris, you know if you want to press the point, that there aren’t people who will be hurt. I got that. And it doesn’t make me happy,” Sanders said.

In all likelihood, it doesn’t make Sanders unhappy either. He keeps using the phrase “just transition,” so his demented socialist mind believes what he is doing is righteous.

Sanders covers his you-know-what on this subject by saying that the transfer to fossil-fuel-free green insanity will magically create new jobs. That’s a great story if a solar panel manufacturing plant opens up in every town where a coal mine closes. As with all socialist ideas, the logistics and specifics are iffy.

The Sanders “Green New Deal” is actually more expansive and expensive than the one proposed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York), to give you an idea of how off-the-charts fringe he is on the issue.

The people who call themselves the believers in science aren’t big believers in math. That lack of belief in math is where the socialist train always ends up going off the rails.
