Nancy Pelosi’s weekly press briefings are becoming the stuff of legend.
That is, legendary bonkers.
Pelosi has given her opinion on the tax cut (“crumbs”), jobs growth (“means little”), and now offers her thoughts on the separation of children from their parents at the border.
“I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country, and maybe there will be when people realize that this is a policy that they defend,” she said. “It’s a horrible thing, and I don’t see any prospect for legislation here.”

Republicans are actually taking it easy on Pelosi by using the descriptive “extreme” to describe her unbalanced musings. In fact, she’s bat guano crazy. Is she actually hoping for conflict in the streets? Sure sounds like it.
The hysteria coming from Democrats on this issue is a smokescreen. What really bothers them is that the parents of these kids are being arrested for crossing the border illegally, as the administration points out.
“Individual children are separated from their parents only when those parents cross the border illegally and are arrested,” Health and Human Services Sec. Alex Azar said in response to criticism from Democratic Rep. Suzanne Bonamici of Oregon. “We can’t have children with parents who are in incarceration, so they are given to me… So the best advice I have is, actually present yourself at a legal border crossing and make your case.”
Azar pointed out that all children are given “medical care, full education, dental, vision. They’re provided athletics, meals.”
Frankly, I don’t know if its better that kids are separated from their jailed parents or not. But it’s clear, Democrats don’t care. If they did, they would have screamed just as loud when President Obama was trying to hide illegal alien kids, as Rep. Henry Cuellar points out.
The fact is, the Democratic solution to illegal immigration is to eliminate illegal immigration. And the way you do that is to simply throw open the borders and allow entry to anyone who can walk, crawl, fly, swim, or drive to the border. With everyone legal, no more illegal immigration problem.
