Mark Levin: 'Democrats Must Defend' Baltimore Because They're Destroying America's Major Cities

Popular conservative radio talker Mark Levin knows why Democrats are defending Congressman Elijah Cummings so passionately: because he is just like them. Yes, he and his ilk have destroyed Baltimore, but guess what? Democrats are doing the exact same thing with other major American cities they control. If they let Republicans — and especially President Trump — criticize Cummings, they’ll have to prepare for similar criticism of their policies in, say, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles.

“The fact of the matter is the Democrats must defend each other in their handling of these various metropolitan areas, because these various metropolitan areas have been in control of the Democrat Party for half a century or more,” Levin said on his radio show recently. “In the case of Baltimore, since the 1940s.”

He went on, as Conservative Review reports, to explain that “they are unraveling, the civil societies are collapsing. They attack their own police forces. They appoint liberal activist judges. They keep raising taxes. They keep pushing out individuals who pay taxes. And so you have the decline — severe decline — of living standards in these communities. Not because of race, not because of the federal government, not because of rich people: Because of the Democrat Party and those who run these cities.”

“Baltimore,” he went on to say, “is not alone.” Just look at Philidelphia, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. “Who runs these cities? Republicans don’t run these cities. Democrats run these cities.”

That’s exactly right. Democrats haven’t just turned Baltimore into a rat-infested place, the same goes for most other big cities they run. They’re all a mess. Oh, and they’re financially in ruins on top of it.

Indeed, this is why Democrats have come to Rep. Cummings’ side when Trump went after him — because if they don’t, they fear they’re next.

Of course, this is exactly why conservatives have to use the Democrats’ horrendous record in America’s major cities against them. They’ve destroyed those cities, especially the inner cities… and the media let them get away with it. No more. Trump has shown us the way. Confront them, fight them, expose them and their failed policies.
