Disney Under Fire for Hiring Convicted Pedophiles to Work on Kids Shows

It seems like everyone is noticing the glaring hypocrisy of Disney regarding the decision to cancel Roseanne after her offensive tweets when other employees and personalities have done much worse—including raping kids. The Twitter account for the documentary An Open Secret, which details the open abuse of children in Hollywood, tweeted this explosive information about the re-hiring of convicted child rapist Brian Peck.

With a rap sheet like that, how is it legal for Peck to even work near children? The original conviction was for the abuse of a Nickelodeon child star, according to Celebrity Insider:

After Brian Peck’s arrest and conviction, Disney (which is owned by ABC) hired him to work on the children’s series Yay, Me! Starring London Tipton and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

Peck worked on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody from 2006 to 2007, just two years after his release from prison, and on Yay, Me! in 2007.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Peck is also “a good friend of actor Charlie Sheen,” who has had his own problems with abuse allegations.

According to the same publication, Peck is not the only pedophile Disney has employed after their convictions.

In 1988, the child actor from the movie Clownhouse Nathan Forrest Winters told his mother at the end of filming that the director Victor Salva had been molesting him for approximately five years. Salva was found guilty on five of the 11 original counts after he confessed to the sexual abuse and video recordings of him abusing Nathan Winters were found in his home.

Police also found videotapes and magazines featuring child pornography as well.

Though Clownhouse was a low budget movie backed by Francis Ford Coppola, Salva went on to enjoy a thriving, lucrative career that was continually backed and supported by Coppola.

Victor Salva is behind the three Jeepers Creepers films.

You can find a full filmography for Victor Salva on his IMDB page, including the Disney backed movie Powder that Salva directed and wrote in 1995. The movie was produced and distributed through the then Disney owned production and distribution company Caravan Pictures.

How is it possible for ABC, a Disney-owned company, to take such a strong stance against offending Valerie Jarrett and yet continue to hire convicted child rapists? The hypocrisy is stunning and everyone is noticing. #SamanthaBee is trending on Twitter currently for her vile remarks about Ivanka Trump (which are unrepeatable) while her network, TBS, does nothing. It is pretty much guaranteed that she will keep her job. Oh wait! They’re giving her an award!

An Open Secret also went to the wayback machine and found Whoopi Goldberg on The View claiming that Roman Polanski’s rape of a 13-year-old child wasn’t “rape, rape.” Whoopie kept her job.

If you have the right political views you can say whatever you want, insult whoever you want and even rape kids and keep your job on TV or in the movies. But Roseanne has been canceled and all replays are being scrubbed forever because… principles or something.
