There was an awards show last night…

I don’t follow these pageants but if you do, here is a list of winners. I will recommend “The Americans” if you are looking for a good show to binge.

Next Monday, the Senate Judiciary will hear from SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser. It is a terrible mistake to humor the Democrats’ last-ditch effort to stop Kavanaugh from getting his SCOTUS seat. As I mentioned yesterday, this sort of tactic needs to be shut down ASAP or else it will become the new normal: every GOP candidate will now have a hazy “me too” allegation that the media will treat as fact. The GOP establishment is weak and they don’t want to appear “insensitive,” therefore the Democrats will get a Scooby snack and the air of legitimacy for their efforts with a hearing involving the accuser, who wanted to be anonymous with her secret accusation but now is ready for her close-up on C-SPAN. Amazing.

Politico, the preferred leak outlet for the GOPe, has the story about the inside machinations of Grassley and McConnell. Senator Schumer, Senate minority leader, wants the FBI to look into the accuser’s allegations. Why? WHY? “We need the FBI to step forward to ensure that the Senate and American public have complete information about this troubling alleged incident before a hearing is held,” he said in a statement.

DECLASSIFIED and it feels so good

President Trump finally ordered the Deep State to declassify parts of the coup documents that are at the foundation of the RUSSIA COLLUSION soap opera hanging over the Trump administration. LORDY!

President Trump on Monday ordered the declassification of several key documents related to the FBI investigation of Russian actions during the 2016 presidential election, including 21 pages of an application for a renewed surveillance warrant against former campaign aide Carter Page, and text messages from disgraced FBI figures Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

“In addition, President Donald J. Trump has directed the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to publicly release all text messages relating to the Russia investigation, without redaction, of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr,” the announcement read.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is working to release the documents.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) claims the declassification is an abuse of power. Let’s just see what’s in those documents and then we can determine how dangerous it was to release them. The Democrats have played that card before, like when they shrieked that the Nunes memo was a danger to national security and then once it was released we all saw what garbage that was.
