Trump Donor Doxxed by Joaquin Castro Gets Threatening Voicemail

Earlier this week, Congressman Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) tweeted out the names and employers of 44 of his own constituents, because they dared to donate to Donald Trump.

It turns out that one two at least six of those people also donated to… Joaquin Castro. Whoops! They won’t make that mistake again, will they?

As amusing as that part is, Castro made a serious error in judgment and now we’re seeing the consequences. He claims he didn’t intend for any of the people he doxxed to be harassed, which is unconvincing. Whether you believe him or not (and I don’t), the harassment has begun.

The mother to a friend of the show was one of the 44-private citizens who donated to the Trump campaign and had her name and employer tweeted out by Joaquin Castro. This is one of the vile voicemails she received.

“Hi! I see that you’ve donated the most allowable by federal law to Donald Trump. I think you’re a scumbag and I f***ing despise everything you stand for. I plan on calling you and filling up your voicemail with a bunch of bulls***, so enjoy that. I will make sure to post this number and extension all over the Internet. F*** you very much, f*** you for your racist bulls***, and f*** you for being scared of your fellow human beings. I think you’re a scumbag. It’s pretty apparent that all you do is make money off other people’s sales of their property because you have no f***ing worth of your own. So why don’t you go f*** yourself, and have a terrible day. Goodbye.”

What are the odds that the woman who got this voicemail is ever going to vote for Joaquin Castro now? How does this persuade her that he’s right? It doesn’t. It’s not supposed to. He doxxed her to intimidate her, and now he’s getting what he wanted.

Now Democrats are going on national TV and openly calling for these sorts of intimidation tactics:

Contrary to Chris Hayes’ sputtering lies, that protest outside Mitch McConnell’s house the other day wasn’t peaceful. Unless you think yelling “Stab the motherf***er in the heart” is peaceful.

Democrats are condoning these intimidation tactics, and they rationalize it because they’ve dehumanized their opponents. As if these shootings aren’t horrible enough, Dems won’t rest until even more people are hurt or killed. Shame on them. And if you think this garbage is okay, shame on you.
