Trump Tweets Biden Meme, Media Pounces

There are a lot of things I don’t like about Donald Trump, but I have to admit, he can be a genuinely funny guy. He has a good sense of humor, as long as it’s not about himself, and he enjoys funny memes and such. If he’s particularly tickled by something he sees online, he’ll tweet it. And if he really likes it, he’ll even pin it to his Twitter page so it’s the first tweet you see.

That video is by a guy called Carpe Donktum, a hardcore Trump supporter who does a lot of videos like this. And there’s no better way to gain Trump’s attention than to mock one of Trump’s opponents.

I didn’t hate Biden’s non-apology apology video as much as I was supposed to, apparently, but I still think this quick little parody is funny. Ol’ Joe is so touchy-feely, he even starts creeping on himself! It might not be as hilarious as a polio survivor falling down, set to the Curb Your Enthusiasm music, but it’s still pretty good. You can laugh at it, can’t you?

No. No, you cannot. This is the part where everybody harrumphs.

That video was doctored. It’s deceptive. That event never happened in real life. It’s just video-editing tricks. It’s fake news. Trump is lying again. He wants you to believe that’s real, but it isn’t. Impeach. IMPEACH!!!

Etc.

As Saul Alinsky wrote in Rules for Radicals: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.”

Not much fun, is it, Dems?
