Keith Olbermann Wants to Ruin a Guy's Life for Killing a Turkey

It’s been a while since I thought about Keith Olbermann, but not long enough. We all know he’s a big mashed-up bag of meat with a hairpiece on it, but what has he gotten himself into this time?

Oh, he’s just trying to destroy the lives of people who displease him. His usual ethical behavior.

That’s right, Keith is angry about a Mississippi newspaper covering a guy who legally hunted a turkey. At least Keith is keeping busy, I guess.

The executive editor of the Clarion-Ledger is standing by his writer:

Alex Griswold at the Washington Free Beacon got a statement from ESPN, which has fired Keith more times than he’s made a good point: “We have spoken to him about not making personal attacks.” Oh, that’s nice. That’ll probably do the trick. The 30,000th time is the charm.

As Griswold notes, Keith didn’t always care so much about turkeys. Not as pets, anyway:

All turkeys are equal, but some turkeys are more equal than others.

But then, those turkeys that were killed to make the sandwiches Keith was selling weren’t as important. They weren’t white. Why should Keith care what happens to brown bodies?

In case you’re wondering, Keith’s latest outburst absolutely fits Twitter’s definition of targeted harassment. It couldn’t be more blatant. But Keith is a good liberal, so I doubt he’ll get banned.

I’m no longer on the team behind KeithOlbermann.com, your one-stop shop for news and opinion on Keith Olbermann, but I’ll always be proud that I was there for its creation. Too bad it annoys him. But then, what doesn’t?
