Linkin Park Released the 'Carpool Karaoke' They Did Just Days Before Chester Bennington Died by Suicide

The music industry lost two major players this year, Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell and Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, to suicide.

Just six days before Chester Bennington died, the band had recorded a “Carpool Karaoke” for Apple Music. Filmed with comedian Ken Jeong, this video is funny and heartwarming. It just goes to show us, once again, that being outwardly happy doesn’t mean that someone is not at risk for suicide. Bennington is seen laughing, singing, and having fun with his bandmates.

Apple Music and Linkin Park decided to release the video as a tribute to Bennington, who has been remembered as a good person, a great rock’n roller, and a loving friend and family member.
