Caitlyn Jenner Will Be Meeting With Nikki Haley to Discuss Global LGBT Issues

Caitlyn Jenner has said that her political mission is to meet with leaders in the Republican Party and try to convince them to care about LGBT issues. Though she went through a famous transgender transformation, Jenner is still a Republican and still espouses conservative ideals. On The View, she was asked if she’s had any success meeting with Trump administration officials. She said that she has a meeting today with our ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, and hopes to broaden the United States’ efforts to support LGBT human rights worldwide. Jenner admitted, “They’d chop my head off in some countries,” and expressed hope that, through our involvement at the UN, we can curtail some of these heinous rights violations.
