As part of his religion-skeptic CNN series Believer, Reza Aslan met with cult leaders of a tiny Hindu offshoot and ate human brains. The cannibalistic group has about 100 members, and many Hindus are upset because they say this tiny assembly does not come close to representing the approximately one billion Hindus, and that CNN should not have been so sensationalistic in their coverage. At one point, Aslan quips, “I feel like this may have been a mistake.” You think?
