After Eve Harow took me to Hebron in August, she pointed out something on our way back to Jersusalem that stayed with me. During the last couple of years, she said, Israeli society seems to care more about the lives of its soldiers than the lives of its civilians. It isn’t normal, and it isn’t healthy.
