The most horrific terror organization in the world, ISIS, has taken responsibility for the terrible attack in Las Vegas. The Islamic radicals claim the shooter, 64-year-old Nevada resident Stephen Paddock, converted to Islam months ago.

What’s most remarkable about ISIS’ claim is that the terror group usually doesn’t take “credit” for attacks they didn’t actually carry out. That’s why, of course, the AP has reported ISIS’ claim.

What’s more, in May of this year, ISIS released a propaganda video calling on “lone wolves” to target the Las Vegas Strip:

Having said that, the claim does sound a tad bit… strange. The most important reason why I don’t take ISIS’ claim at face value is the fact that Paddock shot himself when police entered his hotel room. That’s not exactly a signature move for a jihadist. Those thugs will wait for the police and take as many police officers down with them as they can.

Furthermore, according to investigators, there’s currently no evidence to support the notion that Paddock was in touch with any terror group.

Lastly, the FBI is very clear on this — and something tells me they wouldn’t be so outspoken about it if they had any doubt at all:

BREAKING: FBI says Las Vegas shooter had no connection to international terrorist group.
