Big Demonstrations in Iran (liveblog link fixed)

All over the country.  The biggest in over a year.  So much for the theory that the opposition was destroyed!  But of course there is very little coverage so far as I can tell (however there’s a good liveblog here, including a video of a monster crowd in Tehran, and lots of reports on twitter (many of dubious reliability).

It’s time for some smart publisher to reissue R.R. Palmer’s Age of the Democratic Revolutions.

I gotta go run up some medical bills, back mid-afternoon…
