Just a reminder, in case you forgot, the guy that Disney fired awhile back, James Gunn, thinks baby rape is funny. If he worked for Adult Swim or some other adult film company, I probably wouldn’t care. But James Gunn is now back in charge of making movies for children. You know, the ones he thinks are hysterical to rape.

These are just a few of the tweets that got Gunn into trouble in the first place. There are thousands more, all pointing to the fact that this guy has a serious problem. Is this a joke? “I remember my first NAMBLA meeting. It was the first time I felt ok being who I am. Some of those guys are still my BFFs.” That sure doesn’t sound like a joke. Did you laugh?
But Disney has a lot of these types of problems. Remember when they hired a convicted pedophile to work on a kids’ show?

But don’t worry, everyone! Roseanne Barr is still fired, so you can sleep well! I know the critics of people upset about Gunn’s rehire are claiming that free speech shouldn’t be punished. Is that what this is? Because it sure seems like obscenity to me. Maybe it’s funny to dark comedians somewhere, but for a Disney director? Really?

At the very least, if this is truly going forward, none of us should ever have to listen to pearl-clutching whenever Donald Trump hurls insults at his political enemies. How is anything he has ever said worse than this?

James Gunn is a sick person with a lot of dark thoughts about children. How does Disney explain this? Further, how is it that people are still demanding Tucker Carlson be fired for off-color jokes he told on an adult shock-jock show? Carlson doesn’t work on kids’ movies!
The most disturbing thing about the Gunn incident is an entry on his blog regarding watching a video sent to him by his friend, convicted sex offender Huston Huddleston, as reported by Breitbart.
According to the Wayback Machine that archives old blog posts, on his now-deleted website, Gunn bragged about receiving the video from Huston Huddleston, who is now a convicted pedophile.
“Huston Huddleston posted this video on my Facebook page with the note ‘I thought you’d appreciate this.’ My response: ‘Appreciate it?!! I just came all over my own face!!’” the post reads.
Huddleston pled guilty to possession of child pornography in 2018.
There are too many red flags where Gunn is concerned. He was clearly obsessed with child rape (because there are very few dark jokes about anything else on his Twitter) and he associated at least once with a guy who was convicted for having child porn and admitted to accepting videos from him. This is not a person that any parent would leave alone with their child, so why would we want him making movies for them? And why doesn’t Disney see that they are going to damage their carefully crafted brand forever with this decision?
