It’s been clear for a while, even if it was hard to put into words, but now it’s impossible to miss. The radical left no longer just disagrees with conservatives or Republicans. They act like they are at war with the United States itself. They treat laws as optional, institutions as enemies, and federal authority as illegitimate when it gets in their way. This goes far beyond normal political disagreement. It shows open hostility toward the country as it exists today, and recent events have made that clear.
And Minnesota Governor Tim Walz just provided the smoking gun.
On Wednesday, a radicalized woman decided to attempt to run over ICE agents in Minneapolis. What were they doing? Enforcing immigration law. And this woman learned the hard way that when you try to kill a federal law enforcement officer, they will respond with lethal force.
Instead of supporting federal law enforcement, Walz is threatening to mobilize the Minnesota National Guard to keep the federal government out of Minnesota.
“We have soldiers in training and prepared to be deployed if necessary,” Walz said. “I remind you, a warning order is a heads-up for folks, and these National Guard troops are our National Guard troops. They're teachers in your community, they're business owners, they're construction professionals. They are Minnesotans. Minnesota will not allow our community to be used as a prop in a national political fight.”

Literal civil war style rhetoric. pic.twitter.com/lwwTTMUYb2
That's a sitting governor saying he'll use armed troops against federal agents doing their jobs. It wasn’t hyperbole or political posturing.
And then Walz went right out and said the quiet part out loud.

This wasn't just heated rhetoric in the moment. Walz not only floated the idea of deploying the Minnesota National Guard against federal immigration enforcement, but talked about being “at war with our federal government.”
ICYMI: The Woman Who Tried to Run Over an ICE Agent Has Now Been Identified
Now, make no mistake about it, Walz has zero legal authority to use the National Guard to stop the enforcement of federal law, but the fact that he said it out loud tells you everything about how the radical left views this country. They don't see themselves as Americans who happen to disagree on policy. They see themselves as resistance fighters in enemy territory.
For years, the left tried to throw President Trump in jail while stripping due process from peaceful protesters who were at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, falsely branding them as insurrectionists. Now the roles are fully reversed. We have a sitting governor openly signaling armed resistance to federal law enforcement.
Let’s be clear about what an actual insurrection looks like. It isn’t questioning the results of an election. It’s a governor threatening to use military force to obstruct federal agents from carrying out immigration law.
Democrats have a long, ugly record of hostility toward ICE. Activists in sanctuary cities have physically attacked ICE agents. Democratic politicians have even provided cover for these attacks through inflammatory rhetoric and sanctuary policies designed to obstruct federal immigration enforcement.
But Walz just escalated to a new level.
He's not just refusing to cooperate. He's threatening armed confrontation.
The pattern is unmistakable. The radical left feels entitled to power. When they don't have it, they wage war to get it back. They don't see Trump supporters as fellow citizens with different views. They see them as enemies to be crushed. They don't see federal immigration enforcement as legitimate law enforcement. They see it as an occupying force to be repelled.
Walz's threat to deploy the National Guard against ICE agents is a dangerous escalation in the left’s war with America. It normalizes the idea that the Democratic Party can use military force to nullify federal laws they don't like. That's not how our system works. That's how countries fall apart.
The radical left keeps telling us who they are. They're at war with the United States. Not with Trump. Not with Republicans. With the country itself. Because to them, America is only legitimate when they control it. Everything else is enemy territory.
