The Radical Left Wants You Dead

The assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk should have shocked the entire nation into a moment of collective soul-searching. Instead, we got exactly what anyone paying attention would have predicted: a disgusting display of moral bankruptcy from the political left—the very people who lecture us about civility and democracy.

Former CNN pundit Chris Cillizza perfectly encapsulated this hypocrisy in a recent video where he smugly declared that Kirk's death shouldn't be "used as a political football" while simultaneously claiming that political violence is somehow a bipartisan problem.

You know, I’m really sick of this. We heard the same thing after the 2017 congressional baseball shooting, after the attempt Trump assassination, and every time a leftist committed a mass shooting. These false equivalences aren't just intellectually dishonest—they're morally reprehensible. While the left loves to paint conservatives as violent extremists, the reality tells a completely different story.

Make no mistake about it, political violence from the left continues escalating at an alarming rate, and they're not even bothering to hide their bloodthirsty rhetoric anymore. Just scroll through X and witness the sickening celebration from left-wing accounts gloating about Kirk's murder. These aren't just fringe voices either; this represents mainstream progressive sentiment. Liberal  commentators in the legacy media went so far as to attack Kirk in the aftermath of being shot, even blaming him for his death.

Here's the fundamental truth that conservatives must finally acknowledge: the radical left wants us dead.

They don't want to defeat us politically or win arguments through debate. They want us eliminated, and they feel morally justified in achieving that goal through violence.

The leftists cheering Kirk's assassination want you dead. Even the leftists performatively condemning political violence want you dead too.

How do I know this?

We witnessed this exact pattern after the Trump assassination attempt, where the same people who briefly condemned political violence immediately returned to the same unhinged rhetoric that inspired the attack in the first place.

Kirk himself understood this reality better than most. "Assassination culture is spreading on the left," he warned back in April. "Forty-eight percent of liberals say it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk. Fifty-five percent said the same about Donald Trump." These weren't hypothetical numbers—they represented a genuine threat that tragically materialized.

Kirk also recognized how this violent mentality had become institutionalized: "In California, activists are naming ballot measures after Luigi Mangione. The left is being whipped into a violent frenzy. Any setback, whether losing an election or losing a court case, justifies a maximally violent response. This is the natural outgrowth of left-wing protest culture tolerating violence and mayhem for years on end. The cowardice of local prosecutors and school officials have turned the left into a ticking time bomb."

This assassination represents the inevitable culmination of years of leftist rhetoric that has systematically dehumanized conservatives. When you spend years calling your political opponents fascists, when you label conservative speech as violence simply for opposing abortion or questioning transgender ideology or using the wrong pronouns, when you treat every conservative position as hate speech that threatens democracy itself, you create the moral framework for murder.

The left has constructed an ideological system where their views are unimpeachable and beyond criticism. Anyone who dares challenge their orthodoxy becomes an existential threat they are justified in eliminating. They've convinced themselves that conservatives represent such pure evil that violence against us becomes not just acceptable but necessary.

The left declared war on conservatives long ago, and Kirk's assassination proves they're escalating that war from political combat to actual bloodshed. What was Kirk's crime? Having conversations. Engaging in dialogue. Challenging leftist assumptions through peaceful discourse. That was apparently enough to justify his execution in their twisted worldview.

They can't tolerate the mere existence of conservative voices because our arguments expose the hollowness of their ideology. Rather than engage with our ideas, they'd rather silence us permanently. Kirk's murder wasn't random violence—it was a targeted assassination designed to intimidate other conservatives into submission.

The time of naïve hopes about political reconciliation is over.

The left sees this as a zero-sum fight where only they can win. Their intentions are clear—from the way they reacted when Trump survived being shot in Butler, Pa., to cheering when Charlie Kirk was shot today, they’ve made it very clear where they stand.

Conservatives have to understand we are under a constant threat. The left has declared war on us again and again, and it’s time we respond with clear eyes, firm resolve, and an unshakable commitment to defending our values.
