The Biden Bombshells Are Coming!

For the majority of Joe Biden’s presidency, the White House and the media played a crucial role in protecting him, downplaying his cognitive decline and helping to shield him from the growing concerns about his fitness for office. For years, reports of his lapses, gaffes, and forgetfulness were either ignored or minimized, with the mainstream press dismissing such concerns as right-wing conspiracy theories. Well, I think the dam is breaking, and we’re going to get a torrent of tell-all books from White House insiders.

The first cracks started to form after Biden’s June presidential debate with Donald Trump. Biden’s performance, marked by moments of confusion, incoherent responses, and physical exhaustion, exposed just how severe his cognitive decline had become. It became evident that running him would result in a Reagan-esque landslide for Trump.

Now, with Trump having won the election, Biden’s relevance has diminished even further. Once a protected figure, he has become an increasingly peripheral character, a reminder of an administration that failed to meet expectations. With the election behind us, the people who protected him no longer have the same incentive to shield him.

During Trump’s presidency, it often felt like those around him were more focused on their own interests than on supporting the administration. Many of them quickly penned tell-all books, filled with outlandish (and often dubious) tales of their time in the White House in the hopes of big advances and appearing on the New York Times bestsellers list. Now, as Biden’s tenure winds down, it seems inevitable that we will soon be flooded with a new wave of tell-all memoirs from former officials and staffers, each one eager to cash in with scandalous stories about just how bad things were in the Biden White House.

The signs are already there, as Biden loyalists aren’t even trying to protect him anymore.

National Security Council (NSC) advisor Henry Appel recently declared in an undercover video that “Joe Biden is, like, dead. Not literally.” How many others saw the same thing and now see lots of dollar signs if they dish to a publisher?

And then there’s the media. The New York Times, which has long dismissed concerns about Biden’s mental and physical health, has finally acknowledged the reality of his decline. A recent report highlighted signs of exhaustion, confusion, and even physical struggles, noting that Biden had to rest his head during a trip to Africa and showed signs of difficulty during public appearances. Previously, such instances were either ignored or explained away as natural signs of aging, and any criticism from Republicans was framed as partisan nonsense.

The shift in the Times’ reporting reflects the changing dynamics now that the election is over. As the narrative around Biden shifts, the media can no longer afford to downplay the very real concerns about his health.

Even the staunchest partisans at MSNBC aren’t pulling any punches. For the first time, Stephanie Ruhle revealed that in May 2023, Joe Biden’s team tried to shut down an interview after she asked about his son, Hunter Biden. The White House backlash led to an edited version of the interview being aired, with Ruhle’s original question about Hunter omitted.

It’s a big deal that this stuff is coming out now. In short, it’s almost open season on Biden. And it’s going to be fun.
