Every election, we’re treated to a Democratic Party presidential nominee who tries to sell us on the idea that they will govern from the center, that they are uniters who will work with both parties to get things done. From Obama's “hope and change” to Hillary's "stronger together," Biden's "restoring the soul of America," and now Kamala's "new way forward," the message of unity and strength has been the foundation of the Democrats' campaign pitches for years.
And then they prove to us who they really are: hardcore partisans who care more about their radical agenda and obtaining power than the American people.
In 2008, Barack Obama called small-town Americans bitter, xenophobic racists.
“You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not,” he said. “And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
It was a defining moment that highlighted an underlying disdain for traditionally conservative groups in our country. Hillary Clinton took this disdain a step further when she labeled Trump supporters as “deplorables” in 2016.
“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?” Clinton said at a fundraiser. “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.”
For Hillary, this was an entire segment of Americans she considered irredeemable.
Joe Biden is no different. On Tuesday, he said the quiet part out loud when he spouted, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his [Trump’s] supporters."
It wasn't exactly shocking that he said it, because frankly, every one of these Democrats promised during their campaigns to unify the country. And Kamala is doing the same thing, pushing the same unity narrative right now, even as she simultaneously likens Trump supporters to Nazis and fascists.

Their words may vary, but the message remains unmistakable. These leaders have revealed an outright disdain for millions of Americans, and they’re not hiding it very well. The question is, are you going to keep letting them get away with their hatred? Barack Obama was elected and reelected. Hillary Clinton may not have won the 2016 election, but she won the popular vote.
Unity can’t be built on contempt and hatred. And while Democrats continue to preach tolerance, their own rhetoric is so divisive and belittling that we need to send them a clear message next week. So please, remember their words. Remember how they’ve consistently mocked or dismissed you and equated you to the worst of humanity, then asked for your vote under the guise of “unity." If they get away with it in this election, they will continue to weaponize the government against conservatives.
Just like Obama did. Just like Biden did.
