Before he even took office, Joe Biden laid out the welcome mat for illegal immigrants to flood across our southern border in record numbers. He created a border crisis of historic proportions, and it wasn't until after polls showed that his immigration policies were hurting his reelection chances that he finally acknowledged that there is, in fact, a crisis. However, that acknowledgment came with an ill-fated effort to flip the script and accuse Republicans of failing to secure the border.
Biden made all sorts of excuses for why he couldn't do anything about the crisis on his own and even tried to blame Donald Trump for the failure of a bipartisan border deal that wouldn't have stopped the flow of illegal immigrants across the border.
But Biden has a new fix in mind now. The administration is reportedly mulling over an amnesty proposal that includes granting green cards to certain illegal immigrants.
"The plan would grant migrants who have been in the country for more than 10 years access to the cancellation of removal program provided that they have relatives who would suffer if they were deported," reports the Daily Caller. "Migrants could then receive a green card — a permanent residency grant — if they meet the cancellation of removal requirements and an immigration judge rules in their favor."

"It would represent a larger effort by Biden to take action on behalf of illegal immigrants who have long stayed inside the U.S., the three officials told Politico," the report continued. "The Obama administration took similar action in 2012 with the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which delayed the deportation of illegal migrants who came to the U.S. when they were minors."
Now, think about this for a minute. Biden has gone from claiming he can't do anything without Congress, to mulling executive actions, to once again claiming that only Congress can fix it, to now asserting the authority to grant amnesty like his former boss Barack Obama did. And what, exactly, would amnesty of any kind do to secure the border? Nothing. In fact, it will only encourage more illegals to come this way, knowing that Biden will just fly them to various cities and wait for amnesty.
That has always been the plan.
“There are a lot of things that he can do administratively, he just refuses to do it because, if he does it, he’s gonna prove that he was basically a liar,” Border Patrol Union President Brandon Judd told the New York Post. “Everything was about a legal pathway for those people that already violated our laws.”
Judd also accused Biden of manipulating border crossing numbers by flying illegals into this country rather than having them processed at the border.
“It’s just a bait and switch,” he said. “They’re just paroling people in through airports rather than having them come across the border.”

“They’re just gonna keep the numbers at around 5,000 [border crossings per day], parole people in, and say, ‘Oh, look, we cut our numbers down,’" Judd continued, pointing out that even that figure was too high.
“We’re still five times higher than what we should be,” he said, “but lower than those record number of apprehensions at the southern border.”
Judd believes this is all leading up to a future mass amnesty program.
