!AGBill Barr to appear on CBS This Morning!

Attorney General Bill Barr will appear on something called “CBS News This Morning.” I have to figure out how to find this CBS station thing, but I did learn that the show is broadcast at 7amET, after the Briefing is published.  I hope I don’t have to watch the entire show to see the interview. I will embed the clip of the complete video once it comes online.

THIS IS A LINK TO THE CBS THIS MORNING PODCAST WITH THE INTERVIEW

HERE IS A TRANSCRIPT OF THE INTERVIEW

Here is a promo clip, have a watch and let’s discuss.

What we know Barr will say:

In the interview segment, Barr says he thought Mueller could’ve made a decision on obstruction. I want to point out here that Mueller did made a decision on the RUSSIA conspiracy issue, so why not on obstruction? What is the difference? My guess is that Mueller’s prosecutors couldn’t meet the threshold of reasonable doubt. Can you imagine the freakout if Mueller came back and announced straight-up he couldn’t bring any charges against the president at all? The left’s ritual defamation game would have been over. A report with “no charges” would defeat the purpose of the entire special counsel affair, which was to cripple and soil the Trump administration with the charge of ambiguous criminal activity lurking around it.

Barr also gets a nice punch in on prolific autoethnographer and twidiot James Comey: “Sometimes people can convince themselves that what they are doing is in the higher interest, the better good. They don’t realize that what they are doing is really antithetical to the democratic system we have.” In other words, someone who might believe they have a higher loyalty? The television personality asks interviewer, reporter Jan Crawford, “What did he mean by THAT?” (The disdain for Barr just oozes from the lady.) Crawford says Barr went on to explain that certain people might see their role as one of a “guardian of the government” and that they “know better than everyone else” and so they can justify their behavior. Indeed.

My G-d, I hope this doesn’t spark a new op-ed from Comey. The horror, the horror.

Are you kidding me: Hillary to keynote at a cyberdefense summit

Hillary Clinton has no business at a cyberdefense summit unless she’s being presented as a case study.

“We are pleased to announce that Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will be a featured keynote at our #FireEyeSummit in October! Secretary Clinton will engage in an intimate Q&A keynote discussion,” a tweet from the FireEye Security announced.

What is this dusty old bag of lies going to say?!?

The event is designed to inform executives on cybersecurity, as well as security practitioners on how to “mitigate, detect, and respond to cyber attacks.”

Kim Jung-un killed some folks

According to a report, North Korean madman Kim Jung Un has executed some of the hostages that work for his “government.”

Kim Jong-un has executed his envoy to the U.S. for ‘betraying the supreme leader’ as part of ruthless purge of officials after the dictator’s failed summit with Donald Trump, it has been claimed.

Kim Hyok Chol is said to have been shot by a firing squad in March at Mirim Airport for being ‘won over to the US,’ during nuclear negotiations with Trump.

The top diplomat, who accompanied Kim on his private train ahead of the summit in Vietnam, was one of four senior foreign ministry officials executed at the airfield, a source told South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo.

The other officials were not named, but all allegedly became U.S. ‘spies’ after the failed second negotiations between Trump and Kim Jong-un ended abruptly in February.

A few other lucky hostages were sent to prison camps. Secretary of State Pompeo said the U.S. is checking the veracity of the reports.

The Daily Mail story, which I linked above, has a comprehensive list of Kim Jung Un’s executions, should you be interested. You can add Otto Warmbier to it.
