Good Tuesday morning.
Here’s what’s on the president’s agenda today:
- The president participates in the meeting with the Associated Builders and Contractors National Executive Committee
- President Trump has lunch with members of Congress
- The president meets with the governor of West Virginia
- President Trump presents the Medal of Honor
Let’s get ready to rumble!
The left has publicly embraced the disruption of its enemies’ private lives, so it would be wise to start thinking about how to handle the public confrontation that will likely arise from such uncivilized and barbaric behavior should it occur in your midst. And it will because you are the enemy and you probably hang out with other filthy casuals who haven’t signed off on some wacky and transgressive socio-political agenda. When one of the left’s maniacs, ginned-up on Rachel Maddow soliloquies, tried to assassinate a bunch of GOP congressmen practicing for a charity softball game, the media and political elite tried to sell it as a “one-off” and some freakish occurrence that was in no way related to their violence-laced, over-the-top political rhetoric. But now we have a sitting congresswoman urging citizens to “push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” and to “absolutely harass them.”
But what if cries for political violence and civil disruption aren’t winning campaign messages? Looks like the universal class consciousness needs to dial it back a bit. Twenty-four hours post-Maxine Waters’ marching orders, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had to come in and sweep up the mess Waters made.
“We all have to remember to treat our fellow Americans… all of our fellow Americans with the kind of civility and respect we expect will be afforded to us,” he declared. “I strongly disagree with those who advocate harassing folks if they don’t agree with you.”
Civility and respect are hard to do when Schumer and his resistance colleagues are shrieking to their followers that Trump is a LITERAL Nazi, his policies are LITERALLY killing people and LITERALLY ripping breastfeeding illegal alien babies from their mothers’ breasts.
Even one of the paste eaters at CNN is woke enough to see that the constant verbal assaults and physical confrontations against Trump and his ilk are only helping him. “The Sarah Sanders episode over the weekend — it is helping Donald Trump. Let me say that again. It is helping — for the people who are praising it, it’s helping him,” Brooke Baldwin pleaded. “I know you want to jump back in. He has a 90% approval rating among Republicans. So what do you do with that number?” You lose at the ballot box, that is what you do. Regular Americans aren’t interested in suffering from the fabric of civil society being torn down by a bunch of entitled, out-of-touch weirdos.

Chuck Ross over at The Daily Caller wants you to know that civil servant lawyer/#resistance member Kevin Clinesmith, paid for by the American taxpayer, conducted at least one interview of George Papadopoulos for the Mueller witch hunt. Papadopoulos was a relatively unknown, short-term Trump campaign volunteer who is claimed to be a key power player in the RUSSIA-collusion mythology. Papadopoulos was in contact with a Maltese man named Joseph Mifsud, who was most likely a spy of some sort for the U.S. From the DC:
Papadopoulos, a 30-year-old energy consultant, was interviewed twice last year prior to his arrest on July 27, 2017. The first interview was conducted on Jan. 26, 2017. He was interviewed again on Feb. 16, 2017. Clinesmith was not present for the first interview, TheDCNF is told.
The OIG report said FBI Attorney 2 sent numerous text messages criticizing Trump. The attorney worked on the Clinton probe and was also the FBI’s lead attorney on the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government. He joined Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation early last year but left this February after the discovery of his anti-Trump texts.
Papadopolous pled guilty to lying to the FBI and not, as the mythology would have us believe, to espionage.
Papadopoulos pleaded guilty on Oct. 5 to lying to the FBI during that first interview about the timing of his contacts with a Maltese professor named Joseph Mifsud. Papadopoulos told agents that he believed he met with Mifsud before he joined the campaign on March 21, 2016.
Clinesmith, you might remember, is best known for his anti-Trump texts uncovered by the inspector general. Here’s a good one:
“I’m just devastated. I can’t wait until I can leave today and just shut off the world for the next four days…I just can’t imagine the systematic disassembly of the progress we made over the last 8 years. ACA is gone. Who knows if the rhetoric about deporting people, walls and crap is true. I honestly feel like there is going to be a lot more gun issues too, the crazies won finally. This is the tea party on steroids. And the GOP is going to be lost, they have to deal with an incumbent in 4 years. We have to fight this again. Also Pence is stupid.”
So a disinterested spectator, right?
Moving right along, Senator Mark Warner was busted for running his yapper at his Martha’s Vineyard house during a retreat over the weekend.
“If you get me one more glass of wine, I’ll tell you stuff only Bob Mueller and I know,” Warner was overheard joking to attendees at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee’s annual Majority Trust retreat on Friday night at Warner’s house in Martha’s Vineyard.
Warner then continued: “If you think you’ve seen wild stuff so far, buckle up. It’s going to be a wild couple of months.”
Notice how Politico describes Warner as “joking.” Is he “joking”? It’s a miracle that Politico can determine Warner was “joking” when they can only understand anything Trump says with an autistic-like literality. On Monday night, Trump questioned whether Warner was drunk when he was bragging.
FUN FLASHBACK: Democratic Sen. Mark Warner texted with Russian oligarch lobbyist in effort to contact dossier author Christopher Steele
Sen. Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee who has been leading a congressional investigation into President Trump’s alleged ties to Russia, had extensive contact last year with a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch who was offering Warner access to former British spy and dossier author Christopher Steele, according to text messages obtained exclusively by Fox News.
“We have so much to discuss u need to be careful but we can help our country,” Warner texted the lobbyist, Adam Waldman, on March 22, 2017.
“I’m in,” Waldman, whose firm has ties to Hillary Clinton, texted back to Warner.
Steele famously put together the anti-Trump dossier of unverified information that was used by FBI and Justice Department officials in October 2016 to get a warrant to conduct surveillance of former Trump adviser Carter Page. Despite the efforts, Steele has not agreed to an interview with the committee.
Throughout the text exchanges, Warner seemed particularly intent on connecting directly with Steele without anyone else on the Senate Intelligence Committee being in the loop — at least initially. In one text to the lobbyist, Warner wrote that he would “rather not have a paper trail” of his messages.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Political activist Jim Acosta is not very popular in South Carolina.
Members of the crowd awaiting President Trump’s rally in South Carolina on Monday began chanting “Go home, Jim!” at CNN’s Jim Acosta.
Multiple reporters tweeted that a woman verbally attacked Acosta as he stood in the press area. Crowd members also reportedly chanted “CNN sucks.”
Sitting next to @Acosta is the … ahem … "best" seat in the house. Frequent chanting of "@CNN sucks," "Go home, Jim," after which many have then asked for selfies and autographs. 🤷♀️😂 #SCGov pic.twitter.com/lo76znlmvi
