We’ve all seen countless pharmaceutical ads on television claiming to be able to cure everything from rashes to high blood pressure to fibromyalgia. The actors in them at first appear sad and perhaps overwhelmed by their ailments, but when the wonder drug is introduced, suddenly their lives begin to look up. The man who was just suffering from high cholesterol has a new lease on life and takes a walk on the beach with a knowing smile on his face.
A new commercial has been released that at first looks like your run-of-the-mill pharma ad. But this particular commercial is aimed at adults who may be suffering from a nasty ailment that can cause exhaustion, headaches, sleep deprivation, and even debt. Yes, this ad is for those who suffer from PAR*ENT*ING.
The hilarious (and fake) commercial hits the nail on the head for anyone who has been caring for little people. The “medication” it’s touting? AphukenbrakE of course. (Read it out loud, and you’ll see.) According to the ad, AphukenbrakE can have side effects, such as a “sigh of relief, a decrease in blood pressure, and hanging with the boys.” It is also recommended that you consult with your spouse before taking AphukenbrakE, and that you not take more than one in 24 hours.
If you suffer from PAR*ENT*ING, which affects “10 out of 10 mothers and fathers,” you might want to check this video out.
