On Tuesday, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released the following clip of then-ABC News anchor Amy Robach complaining that the network prevented her from breaking news about Jeffrey Epstein three years ago:
BREAKING: @abcnews anchor @arobach caught on ‘hot mic’ in August disgustedly exposing networks decision to strategically spike bombshell investigation into Jefferey Esptein over THREE YEARS AGO.

Now ABC News and its allies have responded… by punishing the whistleblower.
Journalist Yashar Ali reports:
1. Scoop: ABC News execs believe they know who the former employee is who accessed footage of @arobach expressing her frustrations about her shelved Jeffrey Epstein story
That former employee is now at CBS and ABC execs have reached out to CBS News execshttps://t.co/OHEoyahppY

2. In a statement, an ABC News spokesperson tells me: “We take violations of company policy very seriously, and we’re pursuing all avenues to determine the source of the leak.”https://t.co/OHEoyahppY

3. It’s important to note that ABC News does not know if this former employee leaked the footage to Project Veritas. What they do know is who accessed the footage. It’s possible that person could have shared it with others who leaked it. https://t.co/OHEoyahppY

4. As I noted in this thread, ABC News has confirmed they’re conducting an investigation into the leak.
In response to an email, CBS News says they’re declining to comment for this story. https://t.co/OHEoyahppY

5. Update: Two sources familiar with the matter tell me that CBS News has fired the staffer in question. This comes after ABC informed CBS that they had determined who accessed the footage of Amy Robach expressing her frustrations about the Epstein story. https://t.co/OHEoyahppY

So, in summary:
- ABC News protected Jeffrey Epstein
- Amy Robach complained, on camera, about the network protecting Jeffrey Epstein
- An ABC employee had access to the clip of Robach’s complaint, and it made its way to James O’Keefe
- That employee, who has since moved to CBS News, has been fired
If you were still under the impression that journalists are in the business of giving you the news, this might come as a surprise. For those of us who’ve been paying attention, it’s just another day. Here, put this on a coffee cup:
Modern journalism is all about deciding which facts the public shouldn’t know because they might reflect badly on Democrats.

A mainstream news organization had evidence of a politically connected billionaire pedophile three years ago, but killed the story. When one of its employees revealed the truth to the world, that mainstream news organization conspired with another mainstream news organization to punish that employee. The truth is out, and they don’t like it. They love whistleblowers, except when they’re the ones being exposed.
Journalists demand transparency from everyone but themselves.
All three networks have now run interference for sexual predators. What else aren’t they telling us? Who else are they protecting?
