iPhone Apps Explode, Jobs Confirms Existence of iPhone 'Back Door'

Rumors circulated last week that the new Apple iPhone had a strange, unidentified program that might be a “back door” allowing Apple to examine and delete programs from individual iPhones. This “big brother” rumor had paranoia running rampant through the usual circles and the drama of the idea was too delicious for the rumor mills to ignore. Did Apple build-in a “spy hole” in the iPhone in an attempt to keep control over owner’s units?  The answer is – not surprisingly- yes!  But Steve had an explaination – it’s to protect comsumers from possible bugs in App Store software. They are just doing it for your own good.
