Democrat Operatives Rearrange Deck Chairs at NBC

“Scofflaw Gun Criminal David Gregory Out At NBC?”, Jim Treacher asks at the Daily Caller:

Awful news from noted neat freak Mike Allen at Politico:

Chuck Todd, a political obsessive and rabid sports fan, is the likely successor to David Gregory as moderator of “Meet the Press,” with the change expected to be announced in coming weeks, according to top political sources. The move is an effort by NBC News President Deborah Turness to restore passion and insider cred to a network treasure that has been adrift since the death in 2008 of the irreplaceable Tim Russert…

Gregory’s next move is unknown, but he’s unlikely to remain at the network…

So, Gregory, who never met a conservative he wasn’t willing to attack and belittle — to the point of breaking local laws — is being replaced by former Tom Harkin (D-IA) staffer and longtime leftwing MSNBC talking head Chuck Todd, as the Democrat operatives with bylines shuffle the deckchairs at America’s least-watched and most politicized broadcast TV network.

Gregory is reportedly interested in rejoining former NBC boss Jeff Zucker at CNN, who is busy transforming his current network into the second coming of low-rated, hard-left MSNBC, and with a few exceptions, the cable TV equivalent of Blair’s Law.
