No wonder America has just had its first — and hopefully last — general who thought doing an interview with Rolling Stone was a totally cool and really bitchin’ idea, to use the vernacular of that magazine. Marc Ambinder (who’ll also cheerfully carry the Obama water from time to time) writes in the Atlantic:
The story about him voting for Obama is not contrived. He is a political liberal. He is a social liberal. He banned Fox News from the television sets in his headquarters. Yes, really. This puts to rest another false rumor: that McChrystal deliberately precipitated his firing because he wants to run for President.
As with most liberal elites when they speak an inconvenient truth about the president, “now he’s under the bus,” the Professor adds.
