“MSNBC’s Martin Bashir alters the Lord’s Prayer to mock the NRA,” the Washington Times reports:
Speaking with MSNBC anchor Steve Kornacki and Mother Jones’ David Corn, the host said this year’s NRA Convention may as well be themed “Democrats, you’re welcome” since polling for Republicans has been down.
“There is also a prayer breakfast at this weekend’s conference, presumably to include the NRA’s version of the Lord’s Prayer: ‘Thy kingdom come, help me keep my military-style gun. Give us this day our daily dead,’ and other various phrases like that,” Mr. Bashir mocked.
Don’t worry, I’m sure serious repercussions are already in the works at NBC. For example, I’m positive that the vaunted spiritual leader Al Sharpton, once described by the president of his network as “all the things I think that MSNBC is,” as well as Brian Williams, whom a former NBC executive once described as a man with a deep understanding and sympathy towards “NASCAR nation” will condemn their colleague’s hate speech. Not to mention this staunch Second Amendment supporter at NBC.
Any day now, I’m sure.
