Witness: Mueller Grand Jury Looks Like 'a Black Lives Matter Rally'

The federal grand jury handing down indictments in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe looks like a Bernie Sanders or Black Lives Matter rally according to a witness who recently testified before the panel.

Mueller’s Russia investigation into President Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia was already looking fatally compromised by politics with the overwhelmingly Democratic and anti-Trump makeup of his team. There is also an obvious conflict of interest in the probe due to Mueller’s friendship with former FBI Director James Comey, who leaked his own confidential memo for the purpose of pressuring Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein into appointing a special counsel.

Now this: “The grand jury room looks like a Bernie Sanders rally,” the witness told Richard Johnson of Page Six. “Maybe they found these jurors in central casting, or at a Black Lives Matter rally in Berkeley.”

According to Page Six’s source, eleven of the twenty jurors are African-Americans and two were wearing “peace” t-shirts. “There was only one white male in the room, and he was a prosecutor,” the witness said.

The Washington, D.C. grand jury meets on Fridays, according to Page Six, and handed down its first indictments against Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, and his partner Rick Gates in October, charging them with money laundering and failing to register as foreign agents. Both men are pleading not guilty.

The source said, “That room isn’t a room where POTUS gets a fair shake.”

But then, everything about Mueller’s investigation seems to have been set up to railroad the president — especially the hyper-partisan makeup of his team.

FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok, formerly a key member of the probe, was also assigned by former FBI Director James Comey to lead the tainted Clinton email investigation and has been credited with being the agent who crafted Comey’s exoneration of Clinton. Strzok was demoted to Human Resources last summer after his text messages revealed a profound anti-Trump animus and desire to create an “insurance” policy against him.

His mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, was the personal legal aide to FBI Asst. Director Andrew “Andy” McCabe and also formerly a key member of the probe. She was transferred to the DOJ side in July of 2017.

Andrew Weissmann, a notoriously unscrupulous prosecutor who is now a deputy on Mueller’s team of Democrat partisans, praised outgoing acting Attorney General Sally Yates after she was fired in January by President Trump for defying his travel ban order. Weissmann, who reportedly despises Trump, also attended Hillary Clinton’s election night party.

Aaron Zebley, another member of Mueller’s team, has the dubious distinction of being the attorney who represented the Hillary Clinton IT aide who set up the then-secretary of State’s unsecure server and smashed Clinton’s old BlackBerry phones with a hammer. Zebley is known as Mueller’s “right-hand man,” and served previously as his chief of staff at the FBI and as a senior counselor in the National Security Division at the Department of Justice.

Jeannie Rhee, who was hired by Mueller last summer to work on the probe, was the personal attorney of Ben Rhodes and also represented the Clinton Foundation.

Then there’s the high-ranking member of the DOJ who was demoted amid an ongoing inspector general investigation into his contacts with the shady opposition research firm Fusion GPS. That official’s wife was hired by Fusion to help investigate then-candidate Donald Trump in 2016.

And let’s not forget FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker, who was relieved of his duties by FBI Director Christopher Wray last month amid revelations that partisan bias influenced the high-profile Clinton email and Russia investigations.

The entire “investigation” seems designed to give POTUS anything but “a fair shake.”
