Celebrities, Public Turn on a 'Hopeful' Oprah

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey shared her sense of hope for the presidency of Donald Trump only to be met with a shocked and angry response from her fans and celebrities.

Patton Oswalt, a “celebrity,” responded with “Oprah what the f***? This is not one of my favorite things.”

“Oprah, you can take a deep breath and hold it while the rest of us literally fight for our lives right now. #smh” tweeted “celebrity” Heather Matarazzo.

Oprah announced she was a Hillary Clinton supporter before the election, saying about the troubled presidential candidate, “She not comin’ over to your house. You don’t have to like her. You don’t have to like her.”

In an interview with Associated Press, Oprah explained, “I could sense, maybe I’m wrong, but I could sense from Donald Trump’s body language even when he came out for the acceptance speech, that brotha has been humbled.”
