Gwen Stefani Is Ready for a Gay Son

In a recent interview, Gwen Stefani made this statement:

I would be blessed with a gay son. I just want my boys to be happy and healthy, and I just ask God to guide me every day to be a good mother because it is not an easy job.

With all the new LGBT legislation in North Carolina and Georgia, there are few statements that could spark a heated discussion more than the one above. And Gwen Stefani is not one to filter her comments. While plugging her newest release, “This Is What the Truth Feels Like,” the ex-No Doubt frontwoman opened up to Pride Source about her three sons with Bush’s Gavin Rossdale (whom she divorced in 2015) and about dating The Voice co-host Blake Shelton. The Daily Mail article goes on to say:

The open-minded mother-of-three has plenty of gay friends and admitted she has asked them how they felt as little boys to gain a better perspective on what could be a difficult situation for a child.

However you may feel about having, or not having, a gay son, one would find it hard not to agree with the fact that a child’s happiness is of the utmost importance.
