Given that Democrats enthusiastically support terrorists, baby killers, child castrators, extreme sexual perversions, and rewarding violent criminals, it is pretty hard to support a policy so radical that Dem voters won’t go for it. But Texas House Democrat primary candidate Maureen Galindo managed to do just that.
Galindo gained national backlash earlier this month with an absolutely insane Instagram post — still up on her profile as of Tuesday evening — in which she promised to "turn Karnes ICE Detention Center into a prison for American Zionists and former ICE officers for human trafficking. (It will also be a castration processing center for pedophiles which will probably be most of the Zionists)."

The congressional primary candidate made a convoluted argument that "support of Zionism is undoubtedly Anti-Semitic," that she would write legislation to this effect, and then ranted that "JOHNNY GARCIA IS BEING PAID TO PUT JEWS AND MEXICANS IN CONCENTRATION CAMPS VIA ZIONIST TRAFFICKING NETWORKS." It is not clear what exactly she meant by that. True, Garcia is a sheriff's deputy and is much less extreme on open borders than she is, and admits on his campaign page that border security is important, but he also asserts that we "need serious reforms to ICE," arguing their current focus is wrong.
This brings me to the point that Garcia is not exactly a moderate choice. He certainly has Trump Derangement Syndrome, as evidenced by his number one policy issue:
LOWER COSTS BY ENDING THE TRUMP TARIFFS
It’s time to end the Trump tariffs that are rising prices from the grocery store to the gas pump and threatening San Antonio jobs, including those of our neighbors building trucks for Toyota, International Motors, and large scale farm equipment for JCB and Holt Caterpillar, as well as the jobs of the subcontractors they depend on.
Now, in fact, the tariffs are beneficial to American workers, forcing companies to bring manufacturing back home to America and create more jobs here. That has indeed been a result of the tariffs.

But my point is that simply by using less extreme language, especially on immigration, and framing himself as most interested in "lowering costs" (even though he really wants to do the opposite), Garcia easily beat Galindo in the primary. Garcia received nearly 60% of the Democrat vote in District 35, while Galindo received 40%.
This is a resounding defeat for Galindo. On the other hand, it seems 40% of Democrat voters in her district were so delighted with her that they didn't mind her calling to imprison ICE agents and castrate Zionists. Indeed, it would appear they supported her plan. So perhaps I should modify my statement from the start of this article. Yes, Maureen Galindo was too radical for the majority of Democrat voters in her district. But nearly four out of ten voters in the primary, or nearly 6,000 people, were not repulsed by her plan for a Zionist concentration camp.
