While addressing the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Davos conference today, President Donald Trump said that parts of Europe have been completely transformed, and not in a good way. He’s certainly not wrong.
“Certain places in Europe are not even recognizable. Here in Europe, we've seen the fate that the radical left tried to impose upon America,” Trump stated. “Friends come back from different places and say, 'I don't recognize it.' And that's not in a positive way. That's in a very negative way. I love Europe, and I want to see Europe go good, but it's not heading in the right direction.” I am going to provide just a few statistics on crime and police enforcement across Europe, along with some sobering birth rate data, to illustrate his point.
Let’s start with a statistical comparison that I have highlighted before, which is highly illuminating on the current path of the UK. In 2024 alone, in 39 of 45 UK police jurisdictions, there were 9,700 arrests for social media posts. Also in 2024, based on UK Home Office data reported by JihadWatch, only six percent of victim-based crimes — including robbery, sexual assault, arson, and theft — resulted in a charge.
That is correct, a British citizen is more likely to end up in jail for calling illegal alien rapists “barbarians” than either a British or a foreign criminal is to end up in jail for sexually assaulting a minor or burning down a house. After all, the British police prioritize woke ideology above all. That is why, after a Muslim named Jihad murdered two Jews at a Manchester synagogue, police authorities said they were searching for a motive.

Speaking of sexual assault, Newsrael alleges that Muslims have raped more women in Europe than in Rwanda and Yugoslavia during the conflicts in those countries. The European Conservative provided some stats on Germany’s rape crisis in particular: "Germany, one of the countries hardest hit by the 2015 migration crisis, reported 11,500 rape cases in 2022, with an alarming 40% of perpetrators of Syrian, Afghan, or Iraqi origin."
Statistics released in early 2024 for the city of Frankfurt, Germany, showed that the perpetrators of 100% of serious sexual crimes, 54% of murders, nearly 65% of other homicides, 93% of car thefts, and 80% of daytime burglaries were “foreigners.” That means crimes in the city, particularly sexual crime and burglaries, are largely or entirely fueled by “migrants.”
In 2022, the UK had 70,000 rape complaints, which represented a 25% increase from the previous year. Similar reports of migrant rape and murder come from Ireland, Spain, and other nations.
There is also the problem of religious transformation. In France, for example, a religious building was lost every two weeks as of 2021, and two-thirds of church fires were arson. Notre Dame in Paris was the most famous church to have burned. As of February 2025, arson of French churches continued to plague the nation. Last year, Islam was the fastest-growing religion in Europe. Considering that Islamic sacred texts endorse such evils as jihad, sexual slavery, rape, and honor killings, this will make for a completely different culture. We have already seen a prelude with the mass pro-Hamas riots in many cities.
Another problem is that Europeans are not having children at the replacement rate, while illegal immigrants, particularly Muslims, are. Mohammad is the number one name for babies in England and Wales. When I was in Portugal, a Bangladeshi cab driver confidently predicted that he and his fellow Muslim immigrants would “take over” the country simply because they were the ones having children. Indeed, every European country is below the replacement rate, with Ukraine, Spain, Finland, and Italy among the lowest for birth rates.
Donald Trump is horrifyingly right. Europe is becoming unrecognizable, and that will be awful for the entire world.
