New evidence indicates that the London airport outage that UK authorities blamed on “Russian terrorism” might actually have been tied to a disastrous new climate alarmist-endorsed backup system.
When an outage and a serious electrical substation fire forced the closure of London’s Heathrow Airport, media and Britain’s spy agency MI5 immediately trumpeted accusations against Vladimir Putin and all his minions. But that might have been an excuse to cover for yet another failure of wokeism.
“Why MI5 will be checking very carefully for Putin’s fingerprints on the Heathrow fire,” The Telegraph screeched. “Analysis: While we do not yet know what caused the blaze, it bears all the hallmarks of Russian state-sponsored terrorism.” We’ve heard that before.

On GB News, Member of Parliament Richard Tice declared that the reason behind the outage could be far different than the reason generally reported:
Chaos at Heathrow Airport can be blamed on the drive for net zero by successive governments, according to Reform UK MP Richard Tice.
Speaking on GB News, Tice said Heathrow has changed its backup electrical systems to reach green targets and the decision has now come back to bite them.
Heathrow is of course an incredibly busy airport, with flights to numerous countries — I know someone who was stranded in Italy for the weekend because of the closure. Then again, I can say from personal experience that Heathrow is also a horribly run airport. I have been to nearly a dozen countries on three continents, and never have I seen an airport with such incompetent employees, such authoritarian security lines, such chaotic boarding, and such awful service as Heathrow. It’s a microcosm of everything wrong with the woke UK in a single airport.
Therefore, it is not surprising to hear that unscientific climate alarmism could be to blame for the latest debacle. “Net zero carbon” is not only an impossible goal, it is suicidal because all living things — including humans and food crops — are carbon-based life forms. There is no “climate crisis,” but quite a few people make money off selling scam “green” products while others increase their own authoritarian power with the excuse that they must do so to save the planet. UK oligarchs are all in on the green scam.
Naturally, therefore, they could not admit it if their own compliance system actually were partially or primarily responsible for an airport shutdown. That would be tantamount to confessing that their whole net-zero cult ideology is flawed. It’s so much easier to cry “Russia, Russia, Russia.”
Ultimately, though, regardless of the cause of the Heathrow airport outage and fire, it is certainly true that so-called green energy and climate alarmism are complete scams that will impoverish and weaken prosperous first-world nations. Our electrical grids, our transportation, and so much more are under attack by climate cultists even as our enemies, especially Communist China, stock up on reliable energy.
Thank God Donald Trump is taking aim at climate alarmism in America, but the UK is in serious trouble — and if the Heathrow shutdown really was due to more climate hysteria-driven decision-making, that is just one more reason for the Western world to wake up to the lies before it is too late.
