The choice between the two political parties in America could hardly grow morally clearer than it is now. For instance, just after Democrats voted to ensure that babies born alive after botched abortions could be murdered, Donald Trump signed pardons for peaceful pro-lifers that the Biden administration sent to jail for praying at abortion clinics.
One of these pro-lifers is an octogenarian who survived Nazism and Communism and wanted to dedicate the rest of her life to helping mothers and babies. Another pardoned prisoner is young mother Bevelyn Williams, jailed for her pro-life activism that included witnessing at abortion clinics.
Williams’ husband and little daughter were waiting for her when she was free. That is something her toddler daughter will never forget, that she had to spend Christmas without her mother and that her mother was sent to jail for exercising her First Amendment rights to freedom of religion and speech.
Bevelyn was accused of blocking a volunteer from entering an abortion clinic, supposedly hurting the volunteer’s hand in the process. She was sentenced to 41 months in jail, although violent pro-abortion protesters who attacked and burned numerous pro-life centers have yet to be arrested or prosecuted. Bevelyn, who survived abuse, drug use, abortions, and prison in her early life, wanted to use her adulthood to raise a loving family and help other young women see the joy of motherhood.
When she received her sentence, she noted that the judge was claiming “that I was young and that I would not be defined by my sentence, before making a conscious decision to take me away from my two-year-old daughter for three years.” It is worth mentioning that multiple Jan. 6 prisoners whom Trump pardoned have yet to be released and are reportedly being moved from jail to jail, so obviously some serious investigation is needed into our “justice” system.

Before signing the pardons of the 23 pro-lifers, Trump said, “They should not have been prosecuted. Many of them are elderly people… This is a great honor to sign this.” Vice President JD Vance is also set to speak at the Washington, D.C. March for Life today. They are making it clear that they stand for free speech and for the lives of the most innocent among us, unborn babies — not to the extent that the pro-life Founding Fathers did, in opposing abortion altogether, but certainly in striking contrast to the bloodthirsty death cult of the Democrat Party.
As Trump was preparing to pardon the pro-life Biden political prisoners, the Democrats in the Senate were voting down the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. The bill states that it would “prohibit a health care practitioner from failing to exercise the proper degree of care in the case of a child who survives an abortion or attempted abortion.”
Under the legislation, medical professionals could face fines or prison time for directly or indirectly murdering babies born alive after botched abortions. Unfortunately, the baby-hating Democrats voted to block the bill, including Sen. John Fetterman, who came out strongly against the bill.
Again, stop and think of that. The bill would simply require necessary care for babies born alive after the hideous procedure of partial-birth abortion. Democrats are so dedicated to the death cult that they now openly support infanticide. What does this look like in action? Well, in Tim Walz’s Democrat-run Minnesota, eight babies who survived abortions subsequently died after they were denied care because of anti-life legislation. Meanwhile, there is a very long waiting list for adoption in America, with dozens of families eager and willing to adopt each baby. There is no such thing as an unwanted baby — unless you ask sick Democrat politicians, for whom every baby is unwanted.
Abortion is never necessary to save a mother’s life; it has numerous serious physical, psychological, and emotional effects on women (especially on rape victims); and science has proven beyond doubt that each unborn baby is indeed fully human from the very moment of conception.
Not only that, but abortion cruelly dismembers, beheads, crushes, poisons, and/or starves babies to death. Add to that the Democrats’ desired infanticide, and it is staggering that such crimes could occur in our nation, which was founded on Judeo-Christian morality.
No American, Republican or Democrat, should support such obviously horrific crimes, and yet members of both parties support just that. Thank God that Donald Trump is back in the White House, and may his new administration be the most pro-life in modern U.S. history.
