Leftists around the world have been bemoaning the Israeli counterattack against Islamic Hamas terrorists ever since the heinous Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israelis. Meanwhile, Christians and Jews face violent persecution in many places around the world, and these same leftists don’t give a hoot.
Hamas committed atrocities that shocked the world, and was rewarded with monetary payouts from the Palestinian Authority (PA). Hamas then aggressively blocked civilian evacuations from Gaza so it could continue to hide behind human shields. The majority of Gazans support jihad against Israel. Yet the United Nations, the Democrats, and many other woke entities around the world continue to scream and wail and wring their hands as the Israelis fight to survive. Poor Gaza! Poor Palestinians! So much Islamophobia! The reality is that anti-Semitic hate crimes are going up around the world (including America), but leftists want to pretend the major problem is Islamophobia. Now American university presidents even defend calls for genocide of Jews as “free speech”!

There is a little to no sympathy for the 1400+ Israelis who were so cruelly murdered. Leftists pay mere lip service to concern over a rising wave of violent and dangerous anti-Semitism, both in America and around the world. When a British man complained about Palestinian flags hanging in London, he was the one who was arrested. Pro-terrorist activists stormed congressional Capitol buildings hysterically shouting their support for Gaza, and there was scarcely any government and media anger (in contrast to how Jan. 6 protestors are treated). As of 2020, Jews were targeted for harassment in 94 countries, an increase from previous years. Antisemitism is fast becoming a serious global threat. Persecution of Christians already is. So where’s the outcry?
Nigeria is the most deadly place in the world to be Christian, and yet you’ll never hear a frenzy of horror about Nigeria from the woke leftists (despite their constant shouts of “Black Lives Matter”). Vatican News reported that, between 2009 and 2022, “at least 52,250 Nigerian Christians have been brutally murdered at the hands of Islamist militants.” The outlet added, “In the same period 18,000 Christian churches and 2,200 Christian schools were set ablaze.” Thousands of more moderate Muslims were also targeted.
Another estimate, which included Christians who were permanently disappeared, puts the death toll at around 60,000 Nigerian Christians. Hundreds if not thousands of Nigerian Christians have been killed this year too, as the violent Islamic Jihad persecution continues. Yet in 2021, the Biden administration removed Nigeria from the State Department list of Countries of Particular Concern (CPC)!
Nigeria isn’t the only country with harsh persecution of Christians, sadly. The ten countries ranked by International Christian Concern or ICC as worst for Christians this year were Nigeria, North Korea, India, Iran, China, Pakistan, Eritrea, Algeria, Indonesia, and Azerbaijan. You’ll notice that most of these countries are Communist or majority-Muslim. Other countries with anti-Christian policies or groups include Armenia, Lebanon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Sudan. Even in America, hatred against Christians in the public square is becoming a worrisome phenomenon (by the way, JihadWatch reported that pro-Hamas protesters are now targeting Christian symbols too).
There is genocide going on in many countries against Christians. Jews are the number one religious target for hate crimes in America, and much of the world seems determined to help Hamas wipe Israel off the map. Yet the only religious group that gets any sympathy from woke political entities is Muslims. Such willfully ignorant leftists are complicit in covering up religiously-fueled mass murder.
