STORY UPDATED BELOW:
Fox News’ John Roberts reported this afternoon that President Trump is considering taking executive action on the hot issue that has dominated the news for days now, that of the separation of families at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Since the time of that tweet and the clip below, Trump has said that he will be “signing something” shortly. He stated earlier today that he was pushing for something from Congress but that he would “consider” taking other action if Congress did not act.
Among several proposals, one fix brought by Senator Ted Cruz has been gaining momentum. However, it will require some Democrat buy-in to make it to the president and, once there, will not be veto-proof.
All of which means that whatever comes down today, ultimately it will be President Trump who has to take action or make the call.
UPDATE 12:18 p.m. EST: Per Bloomberg, the president will be signing an Executive Order today, and Congress will vote on a bill tomorrow.
UPDATE 12:34 p.m.: President Trump, at a meeting with Congressional Republicans, has confirmed he will signing something today.
